Be a part of the ETC Pro Team...
Working for ETC isn’t just good… it’s as good as it gets…
- Working in the magnificent French Alps
- A competitive benefits package that will rival any other tour operator
- Serious event experience
- A guarantee that no two days will be the same
- Happy memories… you know the ones you never forget.
Depending on the event, the role that you will play within the ETC Team can be as varied as the events themselves – this is a good thing. Ultimately, your experiences with ETC will be varied and exciting; you will also work alongside some great people who possess a wide variety of skill sets. The office team (who are present at each & every event) are constantly learning from the valuable contributions made from our event staff each year.
Roles that are commonplace within the ETC team can be seen below, including a brief description of what they entail. It should be noted that these roles are not set in stone. They are given to give a further understanding of the objectives the ETC Team needs to fulfil – at each event it is likely that you will gain experience across a variety of roles.
Customer Representative: All members of the ETC Team contribute to our goal of 100% customer satisfaction. Through hard work and powerful negotiating, ETC offers clients exceptional value for money whilst maintaining the highest quality customer service. All members of the ETC Team will have constant client interaction and you will constantly exceed customer expectations.
French Speaking Staff: Don’t worry, we don’t need each and every individual of the ETC Team to be a fluent French speaker, we would like you to know a few words so that when you’re not working you can order yourself a pizza & a beer, but don’t be put off from applying if you haven’t grasped the lingo quite yet. If you are a strong French speaker then that’s great – it obviously comes in very handy in France and will help you work closely alongside our French speaking partners - residence owners, bar/restaurant owners and l’Ecole du Ski Francais (ESF).
Entertainment Guru’s: From qualified door staff to technical wizards, aspects of our events require those who are au fait with the entertainment industry and willing to accept the challenges posed by the mountains and (at times) adverse conditions.
Competition Consultants: No ski/snowboard championships would be complete without the competitions. Whilst the resorts we work with are carefully selected for their reputation of delivering excellent competition schedules, your personal experiences and know-how can only be of benefit to the ETC Team.
Front of House Staff: When clients need somebody to talk to our front of house team is always there, immaculately turned out and spot on with the information they deliver, quick-thinking, approachable members of our team make sure our customers are always wearing a smile.
