Welcome to the Snowsure Staff website 2011/12!
Snowsure staff is a website dedicated to recruiting staff for a winter season in the alps.
Working in the alps doesn’t always have to be a 5 month long affair, we have opportunities for people to work part time in those peak weeks that fit in with your time off, even if you're in full time employment or study.
Wasteland Ski: Head Rep
Wasteland Ski require part-time, part-season reps throughout the winter season. We operate group ski trips throughout the winter season with the bulk operating in the university holiday periods. Positions are available in generally at these times. Successful candidates can expect to 2 - 6 weeks work (some consecutive) over the whole season in various ski resorts, with different working teams.
HEAD REP:
Leading a team of reps, you will be responsible for managing your rep team and liasing with area managers to deliver the Wasteland product to this years Wasteland group clients in resort.
In this role you will be required to:
- Organize, plan and execute the weeks schedule including arrivals and departures of clients out to the alps from the UK and into resort from head office manifests and briefs.
- Put together and manage a weekly staff rota for your reps, to deliver the Wasteland product.
- Manage a team effectively to ensure our high Wasteland standards are met and that your group is having 'The best week of their lives'... a phrase all too familiar with groups travelling with Wasteland Ski.
You:
- Work well under pressure, have the initiative to think on your feet and have a calm and manner.
- Have a 'can do' and positive attitude at all times, even after working long hours.
- Are professional and adapt to those who you are with.
- Lead by example and understand what is required to manage a team
- Will available at all times for clients and staff.
- Have previous experience of leading a team and working in a customer service environment to deliver a bespoke product.
- Understand how to separate and distinguish yourself as a head rep to others
- Report to the head of resort and head office and have some admin to do for your group.

GENERAL REP:

You are our brand ambassadors and will be expected to work as a team to ensure our high standards are met and that your group is having 'The best week of their lives', a phrase all too familiar with groups travelling with Wasteland Ski.
You will play an integral part in the running of arrivals and departures of clients out to the alps from the UK and into resort, as well as fulfilling a weekly rota set by your head rep.

BUSC - ETC Snowsports Event Staff 2013
The British Universities Snowsports Championships – ETC Event Staff
ETC’s long standing partnership continues with BUSC in the organisation of the incredible BUSC Main Event. As the Championships return in 2013 for two weeks of student shenanigans. This is a fantastic event to work as part of the ETC team, as Alpe D'Huez provides a beautiful mix of sun and snow.
We are looking for organised, friendly and enthusiastic people to form part of the 12/13 ETC Pro Team. If you have what it takes to work in an action packed, fun environment then don’t miss out on a fantastic opportunity to combine ski and snowboarding with valuable work experience. We run the two week event as the tour op for BUSC managing everything from accommodation to evening events and ski/board facilitation.
The ETC staff team is a phenomenal way to get involved in snowsports, help run a great event and meet loads of people and we carefully select a great team to make our events as best as they can be.
Key characteristics that we require from team members are:
- Enjoy working hard as part of a team
- Not be a stranger to late nights & early mornings
- Be able to think on your feet, use your initiative and work efficiently
- Extremely organised and efficient

Providing the advanced logistics for the Royal Navy is a challenge that the ETC Team are relishing. Having secured the rights to run the event, ETC have uprooted the Championships from the relatively subdued Les Menuires to Tignes, where the Championships will be welcomed into Tignes’ extravagant events calendar.
